A tinier Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend paddle wheel boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa river based casino, The Isle of Capri, is open all day and night, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot riverboat gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday 21 events.
Iowa casinos present an excellent deal of tax money to the state of Iowa, which has permitted the budgeting of a lot of state wide activities.
