Additionally, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is available 24 hours, with 38,500 square feet, 1,589 slot machines, 36 table games, and 4 restaurants. There are several other dominant Iowa gambling halls, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.

A smaller Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a riverboat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend water based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. Another Iowa river based casino, The Isle of Capri, is available 24 hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 slot machines, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot riverboat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slot machines, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday vingt-et-un tournaments.

Iowa casinos provide a fantastic amount of tax revenue to the government of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a good many commonwealth wide activities. Visitors have increased at a fast rate accompanied with the demand for processors and a gain in employment. Iowa gambling dens have been helpful to the growth of the economy, and the affection for gambling in Iowa is across the board.
