If you like to have a cocktail every so often, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and checks out of the casino. Only take only the money you expect to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you intend to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You can have a profit after a drunken night out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to catch a long toss at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that story seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always consume alcohol and wager. The two just do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah out of the casino is a tiny bit dramatic, but defensive actions for drastic actions is essential. If you bet to profit, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your money without a worry, then consume all the gratis booze you can handle, but do not carry credit cards and checks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your drunken head squanders everything!
Allow me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then go online to wager in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my home, but seeing that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t drink and wager.
How come? Even though I do not drink a lot, once I drink, it’s clearly adequate to cloud my common sense. I wager, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both make for an awful, and crazy, cocktail.
